Nuclear Zero

The History Channel will be showing Countdown to Zero, a riveting documentary about the global threat of nuclear weapons and the imperative of seeking a world without them.

Last month, the CIA and the National Counterterrorism Center co-hosted a screening of Countdown to Zero.  Countdown to Zero is a powerful new documentary about the nuclear threat and the solution: zero nuclear weapons.

When I moved to Takoma Park with my wife, Priscilla, and daughter, Amy, 29 years ago, it was already a Nuclear-Free Zone.  I have been working on nuclear weapons issues ever since and for the first time in my professional career that local stand has a realistic chance of becoming national and global policy.
