Trita Parsi: Netanyahu and the threat of bombing Iran

In an article for the Huffington Post, Trita Parsi of the Ploughshares-funded National Iranian American Council discusses Israel’s warning that it will stop Iran if the U.S. does not.  Parsi's book on Israel and Iran, Treacherous Alliance, was recently recommended by New York Times columnist Roger Cohen. Parsi writes, “Getting to the negotiating table has proven an arduous task for the U.S. and Iran. Both sides are currently testing each other's intentions, asking themselves if the other side is serious about diplomacy.” He concludes that Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu underestimates the influence U.S.-Iran negotiations could have on Iran’s relations with Israel.
