Author Richard Rhodes Speaks in San Francisco Tonight
Tonight in San Francisco, Pulitzer Prize-winning author Richard Rhodes will be speaking at the Herbst Theatre about his newest book, Twilight of the Bombs: Recent Challenges, New Dangers, and the Prospects for a World Without Nuclear Weapons. Rhodes is a friend of the Ploughshares Fund, having spoken at a recent screening of Countdown to Zero, and is among the foremost experts on the history of the U.S. nuclear weapons enterprise.
The event is sponsored by the Long Now Foundation and will begin at 7:30pm.
