15 people the next President should listen to

Wired Magazine is out with its 2008 Smart List, "people with big ideas about how to fix the things that need fixing."  Among the 15 are one Ploughshares Fund grantee -- nuclear terrorism expert Charles Ferguson; one former grantee -- Peter Gleick, who demonstrates how water shortages can breed conflict; and a staffer at the Ploughshares-funded New America Foundation.  The Council on Foreign Relations' Ferguson says that the U.S. government needs to get out ahead of a new laser technology for enriching uranium, and stop would-be proliferators seeking a shorter path to a nuclear weapon.
