New report on U.S. policy toward Russia

The Commission on U.S. Policy toward Russia released a report titled The Right Direction for U.S. Policy toward Russia.  Co-chaired by Ploughshares Fund board member Hon. Chuck Hagel and Hon. Gary Hart, the commission is a joint project of the Nixon Center and the Ploughshares-funded Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs.  Its recommendations include launching a dialogue on arms control, including the extension of START and a discussion of the goal of zero nuclear weapons.
