Ploughshares Fund is outraged by today’s Supreme Court ruling that overturns Roe v. Wade. As a global peace and security foundation, we believe everyone has a right to a safe and secure future. This includes women’s right to abortion, to choose what happens to their bodies, and to control their own lives.
This undoing of almost five decades of fundamental women’s rights in the United States is an affront to us all. Coming on the heels of the Supreme Court striking down a critical New York gun safety law, we are concerned for future generations and for our country.
