The US Needs a 'No First Use' Policy for Nuclear Weapons

Demand presidential candidates oppose the first use of nuclear weapons

Sign the petition today

At any minute, the president of the United States can start a nuclear war with sole authority. There is no requirement for outside approval or a second opinion.

Donald Trump’s reckless behavior is shining a light on just how dangerous this situation is. But no president should have unchecked authority to destroy the world.

Right now, dozens of candidates are running to be our next commander-in-chief. We need to get them on the record now to support the No First Use of nuclear weapons. The United States should never start a nuclear war!

Demand a public commitment from every 2020 presidential candidate to institute a policy against the first use of nuclear weapons if elected president. Sign the petition today.
