Chain Reaction: Women in Security

June 6, 2016 in San Francisco, CA

Evidence has shown time and again that women must be part of the solution if we want to achieve sustainable peace and security. For Ploughshares Fund, that means women must be involved in arms control and nuclear security efforts at all levels—from top policymakers, to grassroots leadership, to expert analysts, to journalists and multi-media activists. It’s time for women’s voices to be heard and for women to have a seat at the negotiating table.
