Meghan is the Policy Associate and Special Assistant to the President at Ploughshares Fund. She provides research support to the DC office, as well as extensive support to the President. Before Meghan moved to Washington this April, she received her Master’s Degree in Nonproliferation and Terrorism Studies at Middlebury Institute for International Studies at Monterey. Her degree work included in-depth exercises on anti-terrorism protocol, the NPT review process, and historical nonproliferation issues. She specialized in Russian language and current Russian politics, media and culture, and US-Russian relations.
Prior to joining Ploughshares Fund in 2017, Meghan worked as a Legal Assistant at Google in Sunnyvale, California. Meghan has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Russian Studies, Political Science and German from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa.
