Cara Wagner

As a program officer, Cara assists in a variety of tasks ranging from assisting in the grants database management to providing administative and research support to the program team on a daily basis. 

Prior to joining Ploughshares Fund in 2015, Cara worked with a variety of international education, human rights, and security focused organizations, holding positions in both development and research. Cara has a Master’s of Science in Global Studies and International Affairs, specialized in conflict resolution and international security with an emphasis on sub-Saharan Africa, and a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. She also received her degree in International Affairs, with a Certificate in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a focus on foreign policy and Western Europe.
