Experts at the Ploughshares-funded Arms Control Association [2] (ACA) urged senior U.S. officials and the media to exhibit greater care to accurately state what is known about Iran's nuclear capabilities. A February 19 International Atomic Energy Agency [3](IAEA) report [4]found that Iran has stockpiled 1010 kg of low-enriched uranium, which, though theoretically enough for a weapon if enriched further, is not the fissile material that can be used in nuclear weapons.
