The Obama Administration’s diplomatic outreach to Iran – meant to prevent an escalation of an arms race among its neighbors – faces pressures from domestic opponents. The Cato Institute will conduct a policymaker education campaign on the importance of reaching diplomatic solutions with Iran and North Korea over their nuclear programs and on the disastrous consequences of failing to do so.
Experts will produce and disseminate policy analyses, engage in policy forum debates in Washington, DC, and brief members of Congress and the administration.
