Nixon Center

The Nixon Center is a prominent institution known for its efforts to enhance American security and prosperity while taking into consideration the legitimate perspectives of other nations. The Nixon Center’s Regional Strategic Program focuses on geo-political developments in the Middle East, and its current project involves making recommendations to address the nuclear standoff between Israel and Iran by developing response scenarios in the event Iran declares or is known to have a weaponrized nuclear program. This project is being headed up by Geoffrey Kemp, who has an extensive background in ME affairs and arms control. By examining different implications of possible scenarios beforehand, the Nixon Center hopes to reduce the odds of decision-makers panicking under the pressure of unforeseen developments.
