Lucinda Watson
Lucinda Watson is a writer (How They Achieved: Stories of Success and Personal Achievement, John Wiley &Sons, 2001) a poet, a community volunteer and philanthropist, and a Healing Touch Practitioner. She is a board member of several national organizations as well as a mother of three children. She writes a blog which reflects her views on life.
"I grew up with a father who was passionately against nuclear weapons and was a part of President Carter's Salt II conference. It was clear to me at an early age the danger to our world presented by nuclear weapons and my goal in life these days is to help find ways to remove the threat of nuclear weapons from all of our lives. Ploughshares Fund is a key player in this effort which is why I support this organization."
