Pakistan's internal refugee crisis

In the wake of escalating violence in Pakistan's Swat Valley, almost three million internally displaced persons (IDPs) have fled to camps, homes, schools and other places of shelter across the Northwest Frontier Province (NWFP).  Samina Ahmed,  South Asia Director for the International Crisis Group, says that the challenge for the Pakistani government and international actors is to make relief, rehabilitation and reconstruction efforts responsive to needs and empower local communities.  She warns that extremists are using the dangerous aid gap to their advantage.   Listen below:
