David Albright, a physicist and former United Nations nuclear inspector, is one of the world’s most respected experts on emerging and clandestine nuclear programs. The founder and president of the Institute for Science and International Security (ISIS), Albright is especially noted for the quality of his analyses of Iraq's nuclear program preceding the U.S. invasion, his close tracking of Iran's program, and his work with North Korean scientists to roll back the DPRK's nuclear weapons program.  In 2006, the American Physical Society recognized Albright "for his tireless and productive efforts to slow the transfer of nuclear weapons technology."
