TED 2010: Countdown to Zero Is This Year’s Inconvenient Truth
Countdown to Zero was shown Thursday evening to attendees of the Technology, Entertainment and Design (TED) conference. Producer Lawrence Bender, who debuted his previous documentary, An Inconvenient Truth, at TED in 2006, also produced this year's Oscar-nominated Inglourious Basterds. The documentary, which includes interviews with global leaders Jimmy Carter, Mikhail Gorbachev, Tony Blair, F.W. de Klerk and Pervez Musharraf, as well as with Ploughshares Fund president Joe Cirincione, calls for the complete elimination of nuclear weapons.
