American Security Project

 The Consensus for American Security is a new initiative of influential military and national security leaders from both parties who have come together to highlight the growing support for a new, sustainable nuclear security policy. Consensus members have written and placed numerous op-eds, conducted media interviews, made multiple visits to Capitol Hill and hosted forums and other public events to encourage smart and non-partisan discourse among policy makers about the need to reduce the role nuclear weapons play in the world.
